About the Owner
Creative Director. Master Stylist. The Visionary.
At an early age, Kathleen took frequent trips to visit her older sister who lived in Manhattan. She fell in love with the best of New York, Broadway plays, fabulous museums, brunch at The Plaza, and, of course, shopping at Bergdorf’s and Tiffany’s. After considering design school in New York, she chose to study Marketing at a local university and landed a job with a publishing firm channeling her love for all things creative and beautiful.
Kathleen’s biggest inspiration was her mother Marlene, who recognized more than anyone Kathleen's passion for fashion. With her support and encouragement she helped Kathleen open her first boutiques, Royal Silk, Silk Quarters, and Divas. After decades of styling women in Ready to Wear, Kathleen listened to her customers’ requests and decided to venture into bridal and special occasion wear. When considering what she wanted her boutique to represent and what her clientele dreamed of being, it was obvious... Simply Stunning.
Behind the Name
Kathleen's obsession with dressing women in beautiful clothing is truly in her DNA. As a young girl, she spent most summers in Pennsylvania visiting her grandmothers, both master seamstresses. The days were filled with designing and sewing gowns for her beloved Barbie dolls. She gained much of her inspiration from fashion icons like Audrey Hepburn, Grace Kelly, and, of course, Jackie Kennedy.
